Abstract: Kumoontun was developed out of necessity in order to preserve the Ayook language (a variant of Mixe from the Totontepec area) by taking advantage of digital media and platforms. It is a new and different experience because the Kumoontun App was created is shared directly with the communities by means of workshops for children, youth and the community at large.
